Meet Star Dog Owner, Judy Borsheim

Judy Borsheim, MS, VSPDT, specializes in aggression, anxiety, and behavior problems.

Judy has been helping people and their dogs live happier lives together since 2012. Her goal in working with people and dogs is to go beyond teaching basic obedience and give people “Aha!” moments that unveil a dog’s perspective and how to channel it to calm a dog down, motivate it to listen, discourage problem behaviors, and encourage preferred behaviors.

In attaining her master’s degree in Canine Life Sciences at Bergin University, Judy studied under various well-known, influential people in animal behavior, psychology, ethics, genetics, and evolution – all with a focus on dogs. This is the only masters program of its kind in the United States.

PAWSOME PUPPY CLASSES

Training and socialization should start early on! Enroll your 8-20 week old puppy in our 5 week program or drop-in classes.

GOOD DOG GRADE SCHOOL

On-leash class teaching basics, leash walking, recall, and impulse control to dogs 4 months and up. Don’t worry, we teach you too!

AGGRESSION & ANXIETY PACKAGES

For dogs with more serious behavior problems, we show you how to manage and reduce the problem and teach Fido to calm down.

Judy helped with a custom training plan for our 2.5 year old border collie mix, Elbert, that had some issues with anxiety and needed some general manners training. She did much more than just get us a training plan - she really developed a relationship with our dog and asked comprehensive questions to understand him completely.
